My real work was developing the people around me. That pattern repeated across 25 years in the agricultural fresh produce export sector, across South Africa and most recently the venture capital space across Southeast Asia. The technical work changed. The development work never did. Eventually I reached a personal contribution ceiling. Not burnout. Not dissatisfaction. The realisation that my impact no longer needed to live inside a single organisation or industry. That insight led me to step away from corporate life entirely and build what you see here.
